Using Our Heads in Worship

To use our head in worship, we need to understand what is going on. It is particularly important that we understand if we are leading. So, let’s answer a few questions here.

Worship is the gathering of God’s people. We worship together with many people performing different roles. Those who lead worship are servants to the people.

While we are serving God, we do not want to do anything that will make people look at us rather than at what we are carrying or holding or saying. So, it is important to make sure you are not fidgeting or playing around. You want to be transparent so that people will look past you to see what God is doing.

During worship, we bring in with us the things that are important in our lives. In this way, we are making more visible those things we already say are important.
