Return to Worship and the Arts home pageDuring 2006 we continue our previous Lenten seasonal approach, beginning with a few simple wreaths draped with gray for Ash Wednesday. For the Sundays of Lent, we add seasonal purple color to the wreaths. All banners are removed from the sanctuary and the usual palms in the chancel are replaced with urns filled with bare branches. The pictures below illustrate these arrangements.
