Congregational Life and Care Committee Congregational Life and Care Committee promotes activities for the congregation to enjoy together and provides care to all members. Church dinners on Sunday evenings, the Chili Cook-off, an old-fashioned hymn sing, progressive dinners for adults, are a short list of CLC Committee sponsored events. Keep checking this web page for updates on our activities. Our care activities include communion for the homebound, food in any emergency, hospital visits, and home visits when appropriate. We meet on the third Sunday following the 11:00 worship service unless announced otherwise. Our members are any members interested in the activities and life of the congregation or care of the members.

Our Care Committee is always ready and willing to offer help whenever you need it. Please call the church or send an e-mail to office@westplanopresbyterian.org so we will be aware of your needs. Our prayers continue for all those in need.

Wednesday Night Live started again on September 5, 2007. The menus for each month will be included in the newsletter. Each committee will be responsible to provide and serve a menu for one Wednesday each month. The order is: (first Wednesday) Reachout, (second) Mission/Stewardship/Society, (third) Congregational Life, (fourth) Christian Nurture and formation. Property and worship will be responsible for the 5th Wednesdays when they occur. We eat at 6 pm, the Wednesday Night Study starts at 6:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a meal with your special church family. We hope you will join us. Check the newsletter to see what gourmet meal is planned for each week.

Sunday Night Pot Luck Suppers, a Talent Show, the Chili Cook-off, which traditionally follows the city-wide CROP Walk are just a few of the upcoming events planned for the congregation to enjoy. Receptions following other events are also part of this committee's responsibility.
