• Presbyterian Church USA

We are a member church of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. which means our understanding of being “church” involves connection and partnership with others in mutual support and accountability.

  • Church Size

We are a church of several hundred who believe there is a place on the field of play for everyone with no need for any to sit on the bench.

  • Children

We cherish children’s full participation in worship because we believe that children are fully able to apprehend God and often lead the rest of us in wonder and awe.

  • Worship Leading To Mission

Our worship proclaims a God who is present in the world among the suffering, the poor, and the forgotten. For this reason, we are eager to dig our hands into the mission of God to which we are sent at the end of each Sunday liturgy.

  • Music

Since music is intrinsic to all liturgy, we make extensive use of many musical forms (vocal and instrumental) in our worship as we lift our praise and prayer to God

WPPC began this process with a congregation wide meeting in July and participated in a thorough assessment process following Rev Kim’s visit. The WPPC New Beginnings leadership team attended a weekend long training session and has met throughout the Fall to prepare to lead the small groups. This 1st Session will be followed by FIVE additional small group sessions, no more than 2 hours each, concluding in late February. You will be contacted by the leadership team with the time of the week your small group will meet. Everyone’s voice needs to be heard throughout this process. The individual small groups will be exploring, engaging, seeking God’s calling. There is a fairly structured curriculum that will help the sessions proceed smoothly. If you have not submitted the times you’re available to attend a small group, please contact Sara Jo Mueller, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . The most important step is the first; Get On The Train! We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday January 11!!

"The thing about trains...it doesn’t matter where they’re going. What matters is deciding to get on."

We are an intentional faith community,
that lives by the ebb and flow of liturgical worship
and hands-on mission.
To make 'space' for all to hear God's call,
we welcome questions,
invite inquiry,
defend mercy,
advocate justice,
love beauty,
and practice joy.
