Anyone who claims to be 39 years of age or older may be a member of Forever 39, which is a dinner
and games group. We meet the 4th Friday evening of each month except June, July, November
and December. Dinners are at a restaurant or potluck at church or someone's home.
The games are at church or someone's home. There are four hosts each month;
they decide where to eat and have the games.
New folks are always welcome.
Hope to see you at our next event!.

April at the Petersons
Gary fired up the grill, and guests brought a selection of potluck dishes. A good time was had by all (sorry, no pictures for
this one)!
March Madness
A good group of around 35 gathered at Pat Bardsley's home for potluck and games. Actually, Pat was vacationing ... but she
volunteered to let the group meet at her house! Charlotte & Bill Van Cleaf and Hugh & Nancy May were hosts. There was a wonderful
selection of hos d'oeurvres and hot dishes for all to share. After eating, we played bridge, Chicken Foot, Blokus, Trivial Pursuit,
and pool. Even with his hosting chores, Hugh found enough time to come out on top once more at Chicken Foot!

Tex-Mex February
A group of over 40 gathered at Tino's Restaurant for dinner and games. Hosts were Bill & Betty McLeod and Dan & Susan Latsha.
We had a great selection meals, all available at the same price. Following dinner, the tables were cleared so we could play games.
Set ups were available for trivial pursuit, chicken foot, Sequence, and bridge. In addition, we had a group playing
Blokus. Once again, Hugh May was the undisputed champ at chicken foot!

January Game Night
A sizeable group of 44 gathered at Pat Bardley's home for potluck dinner and games. Helping Pat host were Jack and Nancie Nunan.
We had a wonderful selection of hors d'oeuvres, salads, vegetables, main dishes, and desserts. Following our meal, a broad
choice of games were on hand to particpate in, including the usual trivial pursuit (the gals won!), chicken foot (champion -
Hugh May), and bridge. In addition we had a small, but dedicated group of pool players, and new games of
Rummikub, and Blokus to choose from!

2007 Activities
New Year's Eve
We had the months of November and December off ... but but gathered at Frank and Cindy Camp's home to celebrate
New Year's Eve and kick off 2008. Co-hosts for this event were Martin and Pat Taylor. A crowd of about 36 met to enjoy
a pot luck meal, play games, and share in the festivities!!

Halloween Hoot
For October, we enjoyed excellent potluck salads and wonderful deserts. A great, garrulous group enjoyed the chill of a fine fall
evening and the generous hosting of Larry and Connie Read and their collaborative cohorts, Lloyd and Joyce Waters!
The big winner at bridge was Sara Jo Mueller, while Larry Read and Sam Stevens did well at Sequence, along with
winning efforts by Norma Welin and Bill McLeod. Chicken Footers had a rousing time as always, while Trivial Pursuiters were all tied
up at the finish! (For those who missed this fun time, be sure to ask Connie and Larry about the little town of Dublin, Texas ... and how
it is significant for both of them!).

September Frolic
For September, we enjoyed a potluck meal at the Batchelder's. A large crowd of around 50 kept the ball rolling, despite
afternoon and early evening temperatures in the nineties! Once again, games played were Trivial Pursuit, bridge, and Chicken Foot.

Fall Kickoff
For our fall startup, we enjoyed a potluck meal at the church. Everybody brought their favorite drink -- and tea was provided by
the Muellers. A lively crowd of 29 showed up to get the ball rolling! Games played were Trivial Pursuit, bridge, and Chicken Foot.
