This is the year for General Assembly to meet! Meeting now only every other year, our denomination’s national meeting will be held on the west coast. The agenda is quickly filling up with issues and concerns of all kinds. Over the coming months, it is important that we keep an eye on what is happening as we are all part of the same denominational family. In this preview, some of the issues related to social justice are listed below. "Comfort My People: A Policy Statement on Serious Mental Illness," offers definitions, identifies professional bodies concerned with this issue, and urges Presbyterians at all levels to be informed and to encourage training and service.
