Text Box: Perhaps you are noticing some changes in our newsletter. The purpose of these changes is to have the construct of our communications better reflect who we are and what we believe.
As you know and live so well, children and youth are indeed integral parts of the Body of Christ that is West Plano Presbyterian Church. Text Box: Therefore, the news and insights regarding children and youth which are to be communicated via this publication will be integrated into the body of our newsletter rather than being isolated in a separate section. Our youth, their parents, sponsors and teachers will continue to receive specific information through weekly (if not more) emails. We also Text Box: hope to include much for your thought and reflection in the future as we move to having our newsletter include a variety of means to tantalize us into remembering that our faith is central to all areas of our lives.
You can be part of this effort! Contact Jenny Mikhail, Betty Weckerly, or David Batchelder to express your interest.

With gratitude to God we will ordain and install our new elders: Heidi Batchelder, Mary Ann Dudko, Lauren Fleming, Jeff Lindley, and David Ramsbottom.

WPPC has long celebrated this liturgy as a time for the whole church to worship as one congregation. For this reason we have one service only.

Mission action is ongoing in the Gulf Coast area. Options for an Adult Mission Trip to the Gulf Coast are being explored. The dates and the time frame are open for discussion and planning. Everything from a long weekend to a week long trip is possible.

Our first meeting resulted in good comments and ideas. You are needed for further conversation before firm plans are made.  Let John Hook or Betty Weckerly know of your interest. The next meeting will be at 6 pm on June 8.
