Lent/Easter Welcome!

Welcome!

We are an intentional faith community,

which lives by the ebb and flow of liturgical worship and hands-on mission.

To make ‘space’ for all to hear God’s call,

we welcome questions,

invite inquiry,

defend mercy,

advocate justice,

love beauty,

and practice joy.

Covenant of Care in a time of COVID

At WPPC, we seek to ensure the health and safety of everyone who attends worship services and other in person events. For this reason, we strongly encourage vaccinations for everyone who is able. We encourage those at risk to wear masks and observe physical distancing. Please use the hand sanitizer stations as you enter and exit the sanctuary. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, (including fever, cough, headache or sore throat) or have been exposed to COVID-19 in some way, please do not attend. It is important to notify the church office if you test positive for COVID-19. We can begin to re-enter our shared worship life by working together.

Presbyterian Church USA

Presbyterian Church USA

We are a member church of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. which means our understanding of being “church” involves connection and partnership with others in mutual support and accountability.

Church Size

Church Size

We are a church of several hundred who believe there is a place on the field of play for everyone with no need for any to sit on the bench.

Children

Children

We cherish children’s full participation in worship because we believe that children are fully able to apprehend God and often lead the rest of us in wonder and awe.

Worship Leading To Mission

Worship Leading To Mission

Our worship proclaims a God who is present in the world among the suffering, the poor, and the forgotten. For this reason, we are eager to dig our hands into the mission of God to which we are sent at the end of each Sunday liturgy.

Music

Music

Since music is intrinsic to all liturgy, we make extensive use of many musical forms (vocal and instrumental) in our worship as we lift our praise and prayer to God
